Thanking him for agreeing to play the piano part in Chausson's Concert [for piano, violin, and string quartet], expressing regret that he does not have time to copy the Finale, saying that he asked [Octave] Maus to have a copyist in Brussels do it--"je pense qu'il vous sera plus agréable à travailler, avec des notes moins fines et mieux disposées"--, adding that he will certainly go to Brussels for the concert [at the Salon] "des XX," etc.
